SECTION 8 - DISCLAIMER: NOT MEDICAL ADVICE

SECTION  9 – PROFESSIONAL COURSE DISCLAIMER & REGULATORY RESPONSIBILITY

This section applies specifically to students enrolled in professional-level programmes, such as the
Certified Practitioner of Integrative Homeopathy (Acute Prescribing) course.

The Certified Practitioner of Integrative Homeopathy (Acute Prescribing) is a unique and specialised qualification in acute homeopathic prescribing, accredited by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA).

On enrolment, students are eligible to apply for CMA student membership, and on successful completion, may apply for full CMA membership.

This qualification does not confer a legal title of “homeopath,” nor does it certify graduates as registered or licensed homeopaths. The term “homeopath” is not legally protected in many countries, including the UK, but regulations, professional titles, and insurance requirements vary across jurisdictions and are subject to change.

Graduates in the UK, USA, and Canada are eligible to apply for practitioner insurance through Westminster Insurance, the CMA’s preferred insurance partner, subject to the insurer’s terms and conditions.

However, all students and graduates—regardless of location—are responsible for confirming legal, regulatory, and insurance requirements in their own jurisdiction. This applies even in countries where Westminster currently provides cover.

This is a professional-level course in integrative acute prescribing. It does not allow you to diagnose, prescribe pharmaceuticals or practise medicine. Always check your country’s legal and insurance requirements. It is each student’s responsibility to ensure that the qualification aligns with the regulatory environment in which they plan to work.

For professional-level courses, all students are individually responsible for ensuring that their chosen programme meets the legal, regulatory and insurance requirements of their country or region. Accreditation by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) does not imply statutory recognition or government licensing.
